We can increase the participation of the Sikh community in the Clinical Research industry by empowering them to start a career in the Research field. About 500,000 Sikhs live in the United States. Male usually has the last name as 'Singh'and female as 'Kaur'. A quick search on LinkedIn for Singh in Clinical research in the United States shows the 4300 results and for Kaur 1200. Pharmaceutical research may only be a small part of this. Bringing more of the Sikh community people on board will bring diversity in research. Join our community and learn more about how to break into the research industry.

Individuals who are medical assistants, LPNs, LVNs, CNAs, phlebotomists, pharmacy technicians, or foreign medical graduates can grow their careers as research assistants or research coordinators with additional training. Nurses can get into CRA roles or Quality control positions. Physicians can add clinical trials to their practice and become clinical trial investigators. There is a wide variety of career growth options available. Right guidance and support are needed.
